The following is a sample of some of the positions we may have a need for in the future.


C++ Programmer

C++/Borland/Microsoft Programmer. 2-5yrs Experience Preferred. Knowledge of alarm/security industry and redundant networking environments are a plus. English language skills required for customer assistance.


Network Technician

Applicant should have thorough understanding of Novell Netware v4.x through current and other network environments. Applicant will configure hardware and software for customers in our office and at customers sites worldwide, but mostly in North America. Training customers in the use of our software will also be required. Previous experience in Alarm industry, working knowledge of NetWare SFT III and technical support training are a plus. Applicant must have a firm understanding of network principles and be able to look past marketing hype to find what works best for the customer. Spanish language skills an extra bonus.


Support Technicians

Applicant will be responsible for answering technical support phone calls, emails and live chats from customers worldwide and assisting them with using our software packages. Applicant should be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a high activity environment. Experience in security industry, network training, hardware experience or Spanish speaking are all a plus. Some travel may be required as well as ability to train customers in person. Must complete Central Station Alarm Association Operator Training within first three months of employment (paid by SIMS if passed).



Other Information

  • Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 - 4:45, 8:15-5:00 or 8:30 - 5:15 with an hour lunch. Minimal overtime may rarely occur.
  • All staff is expected to answer technical support and sales related calls.
  • Must be willing to travel occasionally for on-site training.
  • After hours technical support calls are paid additionally. Minimal number of after hours calls occur.
