SIMSLink
SIMSLink allows remote synchronization of the monitoring database over modem or internet connections.
  • Dealer to Central Station synchronization of accounts and history.
  • Central Station to Central Station synchronization for backup/redundancy.
  • Only new/changed records are transferred.
  • Data is collected quickly at the time of the connection and is not "staged" like some other remote database products operate. This ensures access to the most recent events and changes at any given moment.
  • Dealers use "Database Only" versions of SIMS II or SIMS for Windows to perform their database changes and run reports, SIMSLink is the transfer agent.
  • Extended security features such as Caller-Id authentication, callback or IP address verification.
  • Data transfers are encrypted to increase security to customers.

SIMSLink is sold as a hardware/software solution. A Dell computer which is already configured with Windows NT and SIMSLink installed, with four modems and a Digiboard are included in the cost.
