SIMSXfer is the utility program that schedules and creates the scripts used
for the automated backup service of the SIMS Disaster Recovery Center.
SIMS II, CSM and SIMS I customers on software maintenance can download this
program and install it to start automated backups to our facility.
Nightly backup service is included in the basic software support plan for all SIMS centrals. These backups are compressed, encrypted and sent to secure storage servers at the SIMS, Inc. disaster site in Dallas via daily Internet transfers. The encryption key is held by the central and can only be unlocked by the central in the case of an emergency. |
