An overview to SIMS Accounting Engine
The SIMS Accounting Engine allows SIMS customers to utilize a general accounting package to manage both their internal business needs and also (select fields of) their SIMS database information. This program is meant to replace custom-home-grown accounting programs that have cropped up in the Security-Monitoring industry in lieu of a standard accounting program that addresses this industry’s special requirements. The Security-Monitoring industry has a number of database data items/fields that do Not show up in any normal accounting package. This program allows these Non-standard fields to be mapped into unused fields in a standard database package (such as QuickBooks/PeachTree).
